Artscape hosts "Sharing Space, Sharing Success" Conference in Toronto

We were thrilled to partner with USA-based Nonprofit Centres Network and Tides Canada to host the “Sharing Space; Sharing Success” conference over the past few days. The conference brought together practitioners from across the not-for-profit sector in Ontario and Canada working at the leading edge of the shared space movement. It is always great to be able to work with and learn from colleagues from sectors as diverse as health services, social services, community development, arts and culture and social innovation.
Artscape was pleased to be able to host the opening reception at Artscape Wychwood Barns and the full conference was held at our recently opened arts and cultural hub, Daniel’s Spectrum, in the heart of downtown Toronto’s Regent Park. Artscape President and CEO Tim Jones spoke to the conference about the process of building shared value with multi cross-sector partners and the community to realize the Daniels Spectrum project. Pru Robey participated in a panel sharing Artscape's approach to developing a strong shared vision, which we believe is fundamental to building and sustaining momentum throughout the pre-project development process.
